PENSION OFFICE NEWS

  • Happy New Year!

  • 130 retirees and friends attended the RSPOA/RAP Christmas Luncheon at the Nile on December 12th. Mike Hori won a door prize for the third year in a row. There is a rumor that next year, Mike is going to rent seats next to him to supposedly increase other retirees’ chances to win. The RSPOA/RAP Association doubled the door prize contributions to donate to Police Chaplain Charlie Scoma. Whether a winner or loser, everyone had a great time visiting old partners and friends.

  • There are still members who have not mailed in their 2020 Reporting Forms. As soon as the Reporting Forms are received, the Medicare Part B Reimbursement checks will be mailed back to members ASAP.

New Retirements

There is one LEOFF 1 retirement to report:

Mike Hargraves #2974, will retire on December 28, 2019 after 51 years, 2 ½ months of service in Operations. He is not leaving the area yet, because his wife Suzy is still working in Traffic as a PEO. In case you are wondering, there is a Seattle Fire Fighter still working with over 53 years of service.
