PENSION OFFICE NEWS

  • If you missed last month’s announcement regarding the Division I (Widow’s) July pension COLA, the percentage increase is 3.1%.

  • Some pensioners have not yet gotten their new Medicare card. Do not worry yet, use your old card until the new one arrives. Medicare has until the end of 2019 to get out the final batch of new cards with the new account numbers.  For those that do have your new card, if you have not yet sent a copy in to the Pension Office, please do so.

  • Next month, the results of the RAP picnic events will be published. Don’t forget this year’s picnic is at the NILE on August 8th.  Events start around 10:00, mostly for Bocce Ball.

  • The Retired Officers Banquet is on September 11, 2019, at the Range Pavilion. Doors open around 5:00 p.m. Remember, no ticket sales at the door, just prepaid ticket pick-up.  Call the Relief Office (206-726-9095) for info and/or tickets.
