For this week’s meeting twenty-eight men and women signed in. At 12:00 Noon Cory Ness rang the bell, Greg Goldwyn led the pledge of allegiance, President Nordlund called for order. Good to see Merv Henderson back with us. And, a big welcome to Mike Burke #3140.
For today’s beverage drawing our Vice President Green asked Riley Brice to pick the lucky chip number. And the number is 23 belonging today to Kathy Ness.
In news from the pension office, sorry to report that Sid Reed #2343 passed away on March 11th at age 84. Per Sid’s wish there will be no services. Also, Bill Hallowell #1696 passed away on March 18th. Bill was 90 years old. A sympathy card for Mary was passed around for everybody to sign.

This week Hank Gruber is celebrating his 77th birthday. Happy birthday Henry.
The picnic this year will be held on August 8th. After discussing the low attendance at the range, a show of hands decided this year’s picnic be held at the Nile facilities.
Now for the Severance ten-dollar drawing. Mike Burke stirred up the chips and came out with number six. A quick check of the log book verified that Nick Bulpin is the winner.
Kathy Ness was once again first in line to start the laughter. Kathy had a cute story about three old ladies sitting on a park bench minding their own business. Greg Goldwyn followed up with things people say when stopped by the police. Good job to both Kathy and Greg.
For the raffle, Paul collected $125.00 to give away. The president had the honor of giving Nick Bulpin one hundred dollars after pulling out ticket stub #2242811. Jim Johnson then reached into the plastic jug and handed Greg Goldwyn the remaining dollars with ticket stub #2242846. Congratulations to all our winners. See everybody next week.
