For today’s meeting twenty-one members signed in. There was a one-minute countdown to ringing the bell where several members were standing in anticipation. At exactly 12:00 noon Cory Ness fulfilled his duties followed by Dean Quall leading the pledge of allegiance.
President Green welcomed everybody. All familiar faces in today’s crowd.
Joe Sanford asked Jim Johnson to stir up the chips. The beverage goes to Dean Quall signing in on line sex.
In news from the pension office, sorry to report that Jim Kegley’s widow Kyong-Sun passed away ten days after Jim’s death. She was 79 years old.
Our treasurer reported last week the club made $11.73. Thanks to Jim Sharkey the checking account balance is back to an even number $1452.00.
Kevin O’Keefe is the only person celebrating a birthday this week. Kevin will be 67 years old. Happy birthday Kevin.
Now for the Severance ten-dollar drawing. President Green stirred up the chips coming out with number 18 belonging to Dick Rovig.
To start the laughter Kathy Ness told a true story about burglars breaking into a house. They thought they had come across the mother load only later to discover the white powder turned out to be grandma’s ashes.
For the raffle Paul collected an even one-hundred dollars to give away. Our president drew the winning ticket, our treasurer read the winning number 3887265 and Jim Sharkey raised his hand.
Al Nelson has been able to get his hands on a limited number of the highly sought Burlington/Northern 2020 calendars. If you would like one just to respond to this message.
Tuesday, December 10th is the deadline for reservations to the Christmas lunch. The room is filling up. Don’t be left out.
