APRIL 21, 2022

On this 60th anniversary of the opening of Century Twenty-One, thirty men and women signed their names to the logbook to take part in good conversations and friendships at our weekly meeting.

Good to see Chuck Ziegler and Jim Sharkey in the crowd. Ava Sundstrom is attending but will shortly have to return to her home in Wenatchee.

To get things rolling with the Pepper Prahmus ten-dollar drawing, Cloyd asked Ava to stir up the chips. Out came #3 belonging of course to Cloyd Steiger.
Under Sad News, sorry to report that on Tuesday Marc Olson passed away. Marc was only 64 years old. A sympathy card was passed around for all to sign and will be sent to Marc’s family.

Our treasurer reported that two weeks ago the club brought in $27.00. Pepper is holding last week’s receipts. The checking balance will be updated.
Celebrating their birthday’s this week are Jim Geiser, John Larson, and Caroll Wedlund. Jim is now 78 years old; John has reached 85, and Caroll will celebrate her 50th. Happy birthday!!

Time for the Cory & Kathy Ness ten-dollar drawing. Jerry Taylor stirred up the chips and chose #12. Logbook shows that Tom Caldwell is the lucky winner.

Nobody had any jokes to offer so onto the raffle. Today Cloyd collected $155.00 to give away. Roy Skagen reached into the plastic jug retrieving ticket stub #8387087 held by Tom Caldwell. The remaining cash money goes to Jim Johnson holding ticket stub #8386821.

Congratulations to all the winners and see everybody next week.
