After yesterday’s RSPOA/RAP Christmas lunch, thirteen RAP Club members made the drive back to the Nile to attend today’s meeting.  After Jim Campbell rang the club’s bell at straight up Noon, President Pote led everybody in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Under bright blue chilly skies, twenty-eight members and guests signed in to enjoy another week of friendship and good conversation at our weekly meeting.  At straight up Noon, Merv Henderson had the honor of ringing the club’s official bell directing all to stand for our country’s Pledge of Allegiance led by President Pote.

After the picnic two weeks ago and Ernie’s memorial last week, a regular R.A.P. meeting was held today.  Twenty-five men signed the log book to continue sharing friendship and good conversation.  As 12:00 Noon approached Vice President Merv Henderson rang the club’s bell and President Greg Pote led the pledge of allegiance.

Extra tables had to be set up to accommodate the thirty-five members and guests attending today’s meeting.  The ringing of the club’s bell was almost drowned out by the sounds of good conversation and laughter.  President Pote led all in reciting our country’s pledge of allegiance.

Today thirty-five men signed their names to the log book.  As always at 12:00 Noon the club’s bell was heard throughout the building.  President Pote led the Pledge of Allegiance.   Greg welcomed back Jim Fisk and said hello to Dan Oliver.  John Larson introduced his guest, Joe Turner.  Together 63 years ago today John and Joe enlisted in the Marine Corps.
