There being none, Ed Turner moved the minutes be accepted as written. Seconded by Ivan Feilberg and passed. Nick Bulpin gave the financial report and will submit it for audit.

President Taylor reported the 2020 legislative session will begin January 13th. We have no information of any issues affecting LEOFF 1 & 2 at this time but once in session things will possibly change.

President Taylor introduced Cloyd Steiger who retired from the SPD Homicide in 2016 and is now Chief Investigator for the Washington State Attorney General’s Homicide Investigation Tracking System whose function is tracking and support for Washington State homicide investigations. Cloyd has just written his second book titled Seattle’s Forgotten Serial Killer-Gary Gene Grant. With the help of power point, Cloyd recounted the separate homicides of two young women and two boys occurring in the Renton area from 1969 to 1971. Cloyd told of the events of the investigations leading to the confessions of Gary Grant and eventual convictions. Cloyd’s presentation kept the audience in rapt attention for nearly 30 minutes and was appreciated by all.

There was a door prize drawing conducted by John Guich followed by announcement of no new business and adjournment. 37 people then enjoyed a great lunch.
